- About: Hi everyone! My name is Mariya and I’m from Athens, Greece. I have a Bachelor degree from Hellenic American Union and Diploma in TESOL from Saint Michael’s College Burlington, Vermont, US. I love traveling, therefore I kept teaching Greek even when I moved to Los Angeles. I believe a lesson should be stress free, fun and engaging. Along with the language my students enjoy being immersed in Greek culture and traditions. We learn songs, exchange experiences, discuss movies and every day life. All things considered, I believe that this will help my students memorize grammar and vocabulary better and have a better idea of the Greek culture.
