- About: My name is Cintia, and I have been an early child development Teacher with over 20 years experience including - experience as an Assistant Director. I have a Bachelor's Degree in Early Child Development. My experience is working with age groups ranging from an infant through six years of age. I have implemented many types of curriculum to include Creative curriculums, Conscious Discipline, S.T.E.A.M and Zoo phonics. For activities- I am well versed in Kid Balance Karate, Soccer Shots, Creative Arts, music & singing programs, and creative dance & movement. Working with children has always come naturally to me. Each one is a special individual with unique personalities, and abilities that I would like to help,support,develop, and guide. I have experience working with children that have special needs, and early intervention. I have also trained as a Montessori teacher, and have taught in a Montessori classroom setting for 4 years - facilitating active, and developmentally appropriate learning spaces. I am fluent in teaching Spanish as a native language, and have taught Spanish, as well as English as a Second Language for 4 years. Learning Spanish will be an immersive learning experience, and to include- learning about the beautiful language, culture, history, art & music.
