- About: Bonjour! Je m'appelle Helene- my name is Helene. I am originally from a part of France called Brittany, on the northwestern coast. I went to college and Conservatory there and graduated with a degree in Music and another in Literature, two of my greatest passions. My love of adventure took me to California and Mexico in 1995 - I fell in love with the city of San Francisco and ended up staying for good. I taught French and Music in French-American schools in the Bay Area for many years, while also working on my craft as a singer-songwriter, writing, recording and performing regularly. I believe that learning a language is very similar to learning music - and private instruction allows for fast progress and a format that caters to the student's needs and interests. I am looking forward to hepling you along you on this linguistic and cultural adventure!
